She holds a master’s degree in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. Additionally, she is a Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), bringing a wealth of expertise to her practice.
With over 20 years of experience in EMDR and mindfulness techniques, Veronica integrates these approaches into her therapeutic work. Her background spans a broad range of counseling specialties, including serving as a Certified Family Violence Intervention Provider and a State Certified Clinical Evaluator for substance abuse-related treatment. She has led groups focused on anger management, substance abuse treatment, and family violence intervention, and is a National Board Certified Counselor, reflecting her dedication to holistic and impactful client care.
"I work with clients in my private practice who I believe have the capacity to resolve their own problems; however, there are times in our lives when we need assistance. I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding happiness and contentment in their lives."

Josh Nowlan, LMSW
Josh holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and has extensive training in psychoanalytic theory and technique from the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the NYCGS. He is currently a Core Candidate at the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute and is a licensed master social worker practicing under supervision in Georgia.
Josh is dedicated to building a collaborative, trusting, and enriching relationship with his clients. He often works with individuals experiencing anxiety, dissatisfaction in relationships or career, and patterns of behavior or feelings that may feel confusing or unclear. Through a process that encourages curiosity and reflection, Josh helps clients explore and articulate their thoughts and patterns, fostering a deeper understanding of life’s experiences.
“Psychotherapy is an art and a science. Thinking together with a therapist, we often find a better understanding of ourselves and our behavior, leading to a new sense of freedom and flexibility in life that can be more strategic and less reactive, showing us a way of being and relating to others that is more accepting, creative, effective, and ultimately more fulfilling.”
Grace Paulsen, LMSW
Grace holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and the Strengths-Based Perspective. She is also undergoing training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Grace is also a Licensed Master's social worker practicing under supervision in Georgia. Grace supports clients facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, and grief, with particular focus on issues like infant loss and losses related to the transitions of older adulthood.
In addition to her private practice, Grace works in hospice care, supporting terminally ill patients and their families. This experience has equipped her with the skills to build a collaborative and genuine therapeutic relationship based on trust and open communication. Through this approach, Grace helps clients uncover new opportunities for growth and self-discovery in their personal journeys.
