Veronica Pomeranz, LPC

Veronica is the founder and owner of Atlanta Counseling and Wellness, LLC, which she established in 2004 after beginning her counseling career in 2000. She holds a master’s degree in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. Additionally, she is a Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), bringing a wealth of expertise to her practice.

With over 20 years of experience in EMDR and mindfulness techniques, Veronica integrates these approaches into her therapeutic work. Her background spans a broad range of counseling specialties, including serving as a Certified Family Violence Intervention Provider and a State Certified Clinical Evaluator for substance abuse-related treatment. She has led groups focused on anger management, substance abuse treatment, and family violence intervention, and is a National Board Certified Counselor, reflecting her dedication to holistic and impactful client care.

"I work with clients in my private practice who I believe have the capacity to resolve their own problems; however, there are times in our lives when we need assistance. I believe that as people become more accepting of themselves, they are more capable of finding happiness and contentment in their lives."

Grace Paulsen, LMSW

Grace holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and the Strengths-Based Perspective. She is also undergoing training in Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). Grace is also a Licensed Master's social worker practicing under supervision in Georgia. Grace supports clients facing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, and grief, with particular focus on issues like infant loss and losses related to the transitions of older adulthood.

In addition to her private practice, Grace works in hospice care, supporting terminally ill patients and their families. This experience has equipped her with the skills to build a collaborative and genuine therapeutic relationship based on trust and open communication. Through this approach, Grace helps clients uncover new opportunities for growth and self-discovery in their personal journeys.

Britany Rose,, LMSW

Brittany holds a Master’s degree from Auburn University.

As a licensed medical social worker, with diverse experience across hospice care, managed care coordination, and public health education, Brittany has developed a strong foundation in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. In her current and past roles, she has helped individuals and families navigating chronic illness, end of life issues, and systemic barriers to health and well-being. Her work has consistently involved assessing emotional and psychological needs, coordinating care plans, and facilitating behavioral health interventions – all of which naturally align with the clinical skills and empathic engagement required in psychotherapy.

“These experiences have not only sharpened my clinical judgement and interpersonal sensitivity but also deepened my commitment to holistic client-centered mental health care."
